Firstly, a very very happy birthday to
shackledangel!!! ::parade::
Also, I forgot to mention it this weekend, but Gyda now has a blog of her own! Isn't that exciting? Check it out!
I'm just hoping that she's not going to come after me when I explain why I can't make her makeover party this weekend. Three cats are three cats, and I could barely manage 45 minutes at
antheia's the other day, and she has the same number. Besides, no one is going to want to share makeup or eyeshadow with someone with swollen eyes and a face rash. :P *sigh* I thought these damn shots were finally working, too.
Also on the scale of the annoying festival of fun, the Chicken Little department (a/k/a editorial) is currently having a heart attack over the latest Thing That is So Beyond Important Our Lives Will End If It Is Not Resolved. *rolls eyes* Not to mention that two of the drives that allow my entire department to do our jobs and store our files are completely down, so it's all sunshine and puppies today. Grunt.
The Henri Bendel sale was the opposite of exciting. I've seen nicer stuff at Macy's, to be honest. (not to mention stuff that actually FITS me). The only things in the entire store that I liked were these amazing Richard Tyler evening gowns *swoon* and the cosmetics area, and of course, none of that was on sale. I did find some lovely things at H&M, though, but considering my mini-spree at Lerner (can't bring myself to call it NY & Co!) this weekend, I didn't get anything. There was this one Chanel-style 3/4 sleeve jacket that was really nice, but it had no fewer than 5 pulls in it, and it hadn't even left the store!
The other stuff was just eh. I may yet go back, but the 51st Street store is always a wreck. The ones on 34th are always so much better.
Yeah, and that's all I've got. There's a new episode of Las Vegas on tonight, and I'm looking forward to it. I just wish there was a new episode of Miss Match to go with it. I miss that show. *sigh*
