offbalanceBrrr...figures that my office would be freezing today, now that the heat wave is over and all.
And whee...we just got the new Business to Business Yellow pages in the office, so I made a few photocopies for my mom. ;) All the fabric stores that she could ever want. ;)

femmedyke) after fluctuating states of contact over the years. Since I've known Marla from ye olde days (back when zines were chisled on stone slabs)it's a thrill to hear from her again.
Live Journal. Making the world smaller every day. (and if the lj people want to use my slogan then I get ten icons. Okay? okay.)
Makes me all nostalgic-like. Especially since the coolest thing about Marla always was (and remains) that she showed me that you can have a 9 to 5 job, be girly and fun, and still be a kickass zinester, and to hell with what anyone thinks of you. Plus, I got to catch up on her lj and see names that I haven't heard in years (Lindsey Babygirl!). Now, if anyone can acertain the current wherabouts of Amanda Girlinabox, and Lauren Arrowed, I'll be even more nostalgic. I see Brooke Creamsicle every so often on im, which is neat. I also read about the manic exploits of Colin Atrophy/Eradicator in his sick-makingly funny ljyousmell. Every time I pass the "big Jewish deli" on Second Avenue, I am filled with fond memories, some I found to be of the "ya had ta be there" variety when hermionesviolin was here. She, incidentally almost succeeded in getting me to go to BZ this year. if I end up doing a zine the way that I want to (hahahahahahaaa) I may end up at next year's. You never know.
This mouse is FIRED. Seriously.
