Here they are folks, the 7 celebrities that I would love to get to know better (in a purely Biblical sense) ;D

1. Bono - (after all these years, yes.)
2. John Cusack. (Lloyd Dobler. Martin Blank. Need I say more?)
3. Russell Crowe (A very long weekend with very little talking).
4. Ewan McGregor (I was made for lovin' you, baby...)
5. Jason Lee (The Man Who Was Brodie. *sigh*)
6. Marc Blucas (hot hot hot in an apple pie way. with ice cream!)
7. John Hannah (ever since Sliding Doors...)

honorable mentions: Freddie Prinze, Jr. (newly wed to one of my favorite actresses), Sean Biggerstaff (aka Oliver Wood from HP: SS. But only after he's legal.), Heath Ledger (who has never been as cute as he was in 10 things), Wes Bentley (ditto, American Beauty), Pierce Brosnan, and Ben Affleck (pre-2000).

I seriously need to see Velvet Goldmine. This has gone on too long. and The Pillow Book, Trainspotting, and the rest of A Life Less Ordinary.

Jason Lee was enough for me to seriously contemplate paying money to see a movie that heavily features Tom Green (in which he doesn't just have an unexpected cameo, like Charlie's Angels.) I've seen almost all of his movies, except the one he did with David Schwimmer.

yay! you're pro-Riley. I can't tell you how many people I know are anti-Riley. And I love Riley. He may have been wrong for Buffy, but I'll take him!

The 'last guy' was the new, scottish-accented, witty boyfriend James in Sliding Doors. So cute. He was also in Four Weddings & A Funeral and a bunch of movies I haven't gotten to see yet. *grunt*. BUT, he'll be starring in ABC's new show MDs this fall.

I can't wait for Four Feathers! You?

I haven't seen Velvet Goldmine yet and I have no clue why not! I liked Trainspotting and A Life Less Ordinary muchly.

Yes, I will see that movie for Jason Lee. Wait, he was in Charlie's? Why do I not remember? He has a huge added bonus for Vanilla Sky and Heartbreakers! It was cute to see him play the sweet boy.

MMMM Riley, I was so sad when he went and got married. To me he just seems like such great boyfriend material! I was watching Pleasantville night before last and he was in it, I haven't seen him in anything else. You're right though with the american pie thing, he totally has that good ol boy appeal about him.

Yes, James. Mmmm. He is great. Accents make me weak knee-ed and I love it. I love that movie. I love Four Weddings & A Funeral too. I think I might like anything with Hugh Grant.

I don't know. Wes is great but I don't know if that is the kind of movie I will like ya now?

Now since this is an already huge comment I will tell you a few more of my favorites. Luke Wilson, Kevin Spacey, Benico Del Toro, Sean Patrick Flanery, Jimmy Fallon and Jude Law. I am sure I am missing quite a few.. I did my list a long time ago but I had women in it too.

actually, Jason was NOT in Charlie's Angels. I just can't word sentences worth a damn today. Tom Green was. And he is so unfunny it's painful. But despite that, I still wanted to see Stealing Harvard. Still couldn't bring myself to sit through heartbreakers. Jennifer Love Hewitt gives me big fat HIVES.
(yes, Vanilla Sky! The part where they're playing one of my favorite R.E.M. songs and he's running to Penelope Cruz...*swoon*) Also, Mumford is excellent for Lee as a sweet guy:
"You're in love with one of your patients?! Doc, it's not me, is it??"

Have not seen Plesantville either. I should. I really should.

Four Feathers is def. my kind of movie (went through a scary Merchant/Ivory phase. Don't ask.). May go see it w/me mum.

And my God! Sean Patrick Flannery!! Young Indiana Jones! (and as one of the few people who love Simply Irresistible, Tom Bartlett!) I so love that movie.

From: [identity profile] aimlessly.livejournal.com
Haha! No, that was my fault. I don't know how to read. (:

I loved Vanilla Sky and don't get why so many people didn't.

I own and LOVE Simply Irresistible. ::blush:: I admit that yes it is a tad cheese but it is so sweet and hello, Sarah Michelle Gellar! As far as I am concerned she can save any movie. He was hot shit in Body Shots too. He is truly sex.
From: [identity profile] offbalance.livejournal.com
Vanilla Sky needed to lose the second, it was all a dream ending. That's when I got pissed off at it. But other than that it was decent, besides there being too much Tom Cruise and not enough Jason Lee. (Cameron Crowe is just a God, you see). The soundtrack and cinematography/imagery were great.
(but I do that all the time w/movies.) Incidentally, I still believe that Ryan Philippe & Joshua Jackson should have switched parts in Cruel Intentions. Which I love, too.

My whole family loves Simply Irresistible. We quote it at each other all of the time! Never saw Body Shots tho...what was that about?

From: [identity profile] aimlessly.livejournal.com
Mmmm Josh Jackson

Just a bunch of single kids in their twenties that drink and have sex. Amanda Peet is also in it... (:

Got me off the streets? I live at 59th and Park!

oh yes, Josh Jackson. Urban Legend!

although I couldn't stop laughing during the commercials for Skulls.

This doesn't taste like iced tea.

From: [identity profile] aimlessly.livejournal.com
Skulls was pretty bad but anything with Joshua + Paul Walker = worth a try to me. Actually I own it somehow, I blame working at a video store and never really checking out the films I took home. I admit I forgot to return quite a few.

HAHAHA Your subject line really made me laugh, you are so great. And why does my keyboard hate me so much. *sob*

ps. Paul Walker is also in Pleasantville, another reason to watch. Too bad you missed it on tv, I am sure it will play again.

I can't seem to want to use any icon but my tilty Sarah one. Mmm Sarah

That's cause it's from Long Island.

Date: 2002-09-17 07:07 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] offbalance.livejournal.com
Paul Walker doesn't do it for me, really. But Pleasantville seems worth perusing.

that line was one of my favorite lines in the whole movie. this one too. :)

not into girls myself, but Sarah is cool. Definitely an awesome actress.

Date: 2002-09-17 10:13 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] aimlessly.livejournal.com
it's too late to think of another line...

i am not so much "into" girls as i think they are yummy.

empire was on tonight!

What's with today, today.

Yes, I saw. And 10 things as well. The networks are sadistic for making a person have to choose between those two.

From: [identity profile] aimlessly.livejournal.com
MMMMM Empire Records, why is that movie so great?!

I had no clue Ten Things was on and that makes me sad, though I was watching E.R. with someone and my changing back and forth would really piss them off. Why did the credits say Tobey Maguire?!

Now Debra, don't be bitter, certainly with your ever growing collection of flesh mutilating silver appendages, and your brand new neo nazi boot camp make over, the boys will come a runnin!

That movie is just a million wonderful threads that all come together. And Tobey Maguire did have a part in it, but he was left on the cutting room floor. Hello! Special Edition? Deleted Scenes?

you know, I swear that you get smarter the shorter your skirt gets.

That's an excellent time

(: what a great subject line. you made me want to watch the movie even though i did last night. hahaha! that is so great, that last part.. you're great.. wait i told you that already. ;)

and you get smarter the shorter your hair gets so it's probably a good thing you went with that. It's a wonderful look for you Darling.

Have you checked out Sean Maguire?

and was wes bently the boyfriend in American Beauty?
I know he's in the new movie with heath ledger, but I'm tyring to place hi in AB.

Never heard of Sean Maguire. But Oliver Wood is going to be giving me private Quidditch lessons soon. mmm-hmm.

Wes Bentley played Ricky Fitts, Thora Birch's camera-happy boyfriend, in American Beauty. God, I need to watch that.

thanks. and we'll see.

Sean Maguire is on the WB show "Off Centre" with Danny Kaye Thomas (from American Pie)

it's a cute show, but Sean is pretty damned hot...
heh. I can't wait to see the next Harry Potter movie, I not only had a thing for Oliver Wood, but for Prof. Snape. I can't help it, something about the voice of god turns me on.
*grin*
