I'm annoyingly chipper today. Things just seem to be going fairly well. I'm all positive and even bordering on perky. Be afraid. Be very afraid. If I had brought my cds, with my copies of the soundtrack to Moulin Rouge and my bootleg (haven't gotten the official one yet) of Once More, With Feeling I would be impossible to deal with.
Still, I'm not complaining. I like feeling happy. I like feeling good. I finished Neverwhere yesterday, and finishing it was like finishing a piece of cheesecake: you feel sated, accomplished and very pleased, but at the same time, you're sorry that there's no more left. I absolutely have to read it again. Which is why I must procure my own copy, otherwise Jeff may never get his back. Wow. A book hasn't done this to me in years. I fell head-over-heels in love with it, and with the characters(especially Richard), and couldn't stop reading it. When I was not reading it, unless I was exhausted, I could hear it calling out to me to read it. I haven't read the excerpt of American Gods at the back of it yet, didn't want to break the spell that Neverwhere left on me.
At work now, trying not to daydream too much.
I wasn't surprised by this at all, especially after some soul searching these recent weeks:

Which Sex And The City Girl Are You?

You're Charlotte! A little on the prissy side, but you're a sweetheart. You count on your friends to liven up your life, and in that respect, they never disappoint you.
(and I have no problem being Charlotte as long as it's the Charlotte from seasons 1 & 2. Charlotte after that went off the deep end in a big way.)

My friend who lent me the copy I read and I have been disagreeing about the ending, and when you finish I'd love to discuss it with you! :D
