Happy Halloween/Samhain Everyone!!

Holly Golightly was a bust. I tried on the outfit last night and things did NOT go well. Mostly the skirt is much much too short. Also: Note to self: In the future, do not pick a character from a movie that takes place during a summer heatwave for a late fall holiday as a costume.

Instead, I'm in all black (skirt, sweater), with my new boots, trying to be all sultry : Shirley Manson (first Garbage album, anyhow) meets Emma Peel. In reality I think I probably look more like when Good Willow was pretending to be Evil Vampire Willow (not to be confused with Darth Rosenberg) in Dopplegangland. Me trying to be all sultry and badass is just funny.

also: no details until they develop, but I may have a job interview tomorrow. Possibly. Not definitely. But if that happends, it's home early and off to sleep for little me.

I sent out a package for my boss the other day. Did everything right... but IT CAME BACK TODAY because the stupid label was illegible.

That's better. The too-small, ultra-ripped stockings have been replaced with properly fitting ones without holes. I am so cleaning out that drawer this weekend.

Still no word whether or not I have an interview. I'm thinking not. Ah well. I'm in such a weird mood. I had a very yummy lunch (featuring a bonus kitkat! thanks mom! :D)

Sleepy I suppose. Seriously considering rejoining the bar party, if but for a few hours. I just need dinner plans, b/c I'm not running back & forth. Some time out would be great, though I'd have to start heading home 10:30ish.

So I have been convinced to go to the bar party for a short time this evening, due to a combination of frustration, boredom, and a genuine curiosity as to what the bartenders are going to be wearing.

however, I had a moment of consideration that I shouldn't go just a second ago. The reason?

Black boots. Black outfit. Black coat. Large Brown purse & larger totebag. This was my reason. My bags didn't match my clothes and were large *shakes head*. I'd ask what was wrong with me, but rhetorical questions are *so* annoying! X/

But I'm going. First to fried dumpling & then to Iggy's. Anyone who wishes to get in on the fun should call the roving hotline. (my cellphone to those staring at the screen with a quizzical look on their faces.)
