things that make you go hmmm
Nov. 24th, 2002 02:05 pmSo the baby (okay, she's 13 months. but still) . slept through dinner and was wonderfully well-behaved. Then we took her back to the house and got to play with her for a couple of hours. And she is THE CUTEST MUNCHKIN IN THE KNOWN UNIVERSE!!! Seriously. She is smart, and curious, and active, but a really good sport. Hardly cried at all. And she let me pick her up a couple of times! And she loved playing with my bracelets, and being rocked in my dad's giant rocking recliner. (and she makes this little noise that sounds like a pigeon cooing when she's excited about something, no doubt imitating all of the 'ooh' noises people made at her from birth to present. I just about died.)
and my parents said I looked 'natural' with her. wtf?
Anyway, called Jeff a little while ago, and he was still asleep. Am going to call Carly soon, because I haven't spoken to her since the last ice age. And, I'm going to figure out what my horoscope is on about:
Expect to be saluted and awarded. Charismatic Pisces is wonderfully resourceful in a situation like this. Although you're a swimmer by nature, these days it feels a lot like flying.
Ahh, Sunday. I honestly really didn't feel like doing anything today, the last couple of weekends I was dying to get out and run around, but I've actually been looking forward to spending a few hours vegetating. Reading the Times SundayStyles section and all that. I considered going to the holiday fleamarket they have in Union Square, but eh. I don't really have much money to spend yet. Even though I REALLY need to go shopping. Soon.
but yeah.
