So so so so excited!! Never mind that I've seen them 4 other times. Oh no. Guster! This is goodness! I haven't been to a show of any kind in ages, and I have yet to get tired of any of their music. (And Lost and Gone Forever is one of the best.albums.ever. and you need to own it. Uh-huh. yes you do!)

Okay, so I've been temping at Harper Collins for the last couple of weeks. And while here, I poked around on their HR boards, looking for a means to go from temp to perm. (Which is akin from going from the Earth to the Moon, but I had to try). So I found a job opening in the contracts department and applied for it. I had two interviews for it (both of which went very well.) NOW, I just got a call, and the HR person told me that they would like me to temp in the position for an 'undetermined' amount of time, just to try it out. And that I'm 'definitely a finalist' for the position. And I start Monday. WTF?

I'm still worried about jinxing myself. I don't know if I should be talking about this yet. But I figured if I had to choose between this and exploding, this would win. So I don't know what's what. Don't congratulate me yet. There's no celebrating to be done. But yeah, that's what I've been spazzing about of late.

(and if I don't get the idea of wanting french fries out of my head there will be problems. Big ones.)
