It was a very happy thanksgiving indeed. I got to spend it with my immediate family only, which was a welcome break for all of us. Lots of food, and lots of raves for my famous sweet potato and marshmellow pie. :) It was a pretty mellow day, I was basically exhausted from last night's concert and from working all week, and my parents have been very concerned about how tired they say I've been looking. To be honest, I was basically exhausted and out of sorts all day - lots of food helped somewhat, but I still feel dishraggy.
The bloodshed present came twofold: first and foremost in the guise of the Buffy Skewer's Choice Marathon on F/X (yay!) . The other nice part about being just us for the holidays is that we could enjoy the Buffy overload without getting crosseyed looks from relatives. Then I cut myself on a measuring cup that I didn't know was chipped when I was washing the dishes, in the valley between my thumb and forefinger, which bled a lot and still hurts like a bitch.
And oh, the Gusterness of last night! And seeing DAVID BAUMFLECK while on line to get in! *gigglefit* I've come to the conclusion that seeing people you knew but weren't particularly friendly with in high school is just like encountering a celebrity: it's fun to look and say you saw them, but there's no reason to actually talk to them.
