Valentine's Day was made for natural romantics like Pisces. Someone brings you just enough fire to raise a little steam. There are no delusions in matters of the heart -- for once, this is the real thing.
*gag* *sigh* I hate it when horoscopes are so blatantly sign-ist. If there's anyone that I've really figured out how to love, it's myself. Jokes aside, it's really so. I've stopped viewing love as the one thing that will complete me and solve all of my problems. *sigh* I'm always looking for it, make no mistake. But I've remembered that I have a fantastic group of friends who mean the world to me, and a pretty great life. So for the first time in untold years of being single of Valentine's Day, I'm not depressed. At all. :)
And for those of you also sick to death of all of the stupid false-romantic treacle that crops up on this day, may I suggest:
VH1 Radio's Anti-Valentine Station! So far they've played Pat Benetar, Aretha Franklin, and several Magnetic Fields songs. :)
Okay, now to get this mountain of work out of my way so that I can leave on time to go and meet Theresa later. :)
