Today in the News:

Yanks trade Jason Anderson & pair of minor league pitchers for Armando Benitez. - not sure how I feel about this one yet. He can be inconsistent, but then again the Yankees have a history of taking so-so players from the Mets and other teams and turning them around, so I'm going to attempt an open mind.

Oh, yum!!

I'm going out later. Usually, when I go to happy hour, I have the damndest time trying to get fed before I start drinking, and usually wind up chomping down on a hotdog beforehand.

Not today, I decided. Oh, no.

I was struck with my bi-monthly curry craving today and decided to do something about it. Putting the nice lunch I brought with me aside for 5pm, I went out and got myself a meal from the Indian Fast Food Cart (their actual name). I got a very nice plate for $5, my craving is sated, and I'll be able to drink later! yay!

Must remember this for future reference.

Elwood sighting?

While on my lunch today, I was heading up 53rd street looking for my food cart of choice, when I almost walked into a short man with glasses and curly-ish brown hair, carrying a backpack and a duffel. Neither of us had been paying attention, and he just said, "Excuse me," and we went on our way.

He looked JUST like Elijah wood. But I thought, nahh...couldn't be.

anybody think it might have been?

Heaven only knows what they want, or even what magazine this is. *cringes*

Major women's magazine is looking for former goth girls. If you have pictures of yourself done up like a goth (but are not Goth now) - we would love to hear your story! Pictures of your goth phase essential.
