offbalance: (Lost in Translation)
This is such a great song. *sways* I was trying to keep in my head for as long as possible, but now I seem to have switched to "Hyperballad" without warning.

I'm very pleased with the weather. This upward trend in temperature may continue, although I would prefer it without the precipitation if possible. Thanks.

Also: helpful hint. If you're leaving a message for a party with an actual person, and not a voicemail, it would be in your best interest to speak slower, so that the message-taker might be able to keep up wtih you. Okay? Okay.

More as it develops. It's been something of a slow morning.

Some people have a great deal of nerve. Boy Howdy, do they EVER.

Some person from a department other than mine asked for some help with a 'bunch' of contracts. About 20 or so, she pled, urgent, and desperate for help. So, because I'm a nice person, I agreed to help.

She sent a list of FORTY-TWO. FORTY TWO. Most of which were perfectly easy for me to find, but it still took 2-3 days to put it all together. I mentioned the list to Boss T and Boss L, and they were a bit torqued off at this person's abuse of my time (Boss L's words, not mine). I was also especially angered by the fact that she made this seem like an urgent problem, yet was on vacation for the ENTIRE WEEK that I worked on this. Obviously, it wasn't that bloody urgent!!

So now?

This person wrote back. Asking for direct links and printouts. AND SHE DID IT IN RED!!!! Fucking.Nerve.

This ends now. As soon as I stop SEEING red I am going to Boss T. And this is going to get nipped in the bud toot sweet.

Lawyer C, whose office is right near mine, just provided me with the quote of the day:
"That would be like killing your parents, and then asking the court to have mercy on you because you're an orphan!!!"
