Sometimes I even astound myself

I went to the gym after work yesterday, despite being completely and totally knackered. It went pretty well, I had a nice workout and had decided to go back today.

Then I left my gym bag at home. >< I had needed to switch some things out of it, or at best find something smaller to carry my stuff around in, and then I got home and totally forgot to do any of it. I had dinner, watched some of my favorite bits of the beginning of Priscilla, left da_judge1 a voicemail of his own, and settled a few bills with quasisonic. Then it was 11:30, and I needed to sleep. WTF does the time GO? *sigh*

Today I'm having lunch with Amy (should be a nice day for it) and I'm going to get all of these damn contracts into DS if it kills me, by gum.

And what's even weirder - I'm having this odd mood - possibly brought on by "Bachelorette" by Bjork - which is making me feel very very powerful. It's odd, not in a bad way, but it's one of those days where I almost feel like I could take on anything. Almost. I would wear my red red lipstick if I had it, something about this mood suggests wearing lots of red (I'm in blue - figures) and I'm not sure what else. I'm not used to it - is it confidence? I wonder.

Sometimes I wish that my company provided little cots that you could use on your lunch hour, just for a little restorative nap.

I keep daydreaming about my bed: the coolness of the sheets, the gentle weight of the blankets, the softness of my pillow - it's all so much sweeter in the morning when I have to get up to leave, for some reason.

I thought that I was sleeping enough. I guess not.

Already sleepy.
