Nights of Literary importance deserve more coherent entries.

Hey, kaytee4ever? Get any mysterious texts yesterday? ;) From people correctly identifying you as adorable? :D

Had such a great time out with the enormous group who gathered for blergeatkitty's reading at Barbes, and then traveled for an impromptu afterparty at City Lighting. Incidentally, the reading was SRO - so many people turned up, there was barely room to move in the place, and Our Blerg was the main attraction. She was sensational, but then, when isn't she? I also must give a shoutout to darryl, whose story I enjoyed and whose blog feed I must add. Good times!

I also wouldn't mind hanging out at Barbes sometime...it seemed like a really cool place.

Also in attendance:
kennfusion, penpusher,quasisonic, jackalprey, teany, stacyinthecity, pootrootbeer, laughingirl, thatpr0nguy, and Z, A, and V from the writing group. (My friend Evan joined us for dinner). I was so excited to see Z, V & A. I haven't really seen them for awhile now and they are what I miss about the group. Plus, they were happy to see me, which is always a nice feeling. The entire group was awesome, also - with conversations ranging from nachos, to orgies, to what the 7 Virtues really are (see kennfusion's jounal for the list).

Someday, photos of the group together last night will be in a textbook about whatever they refer to our generation of writers as. Maybe after we're all long dead, but I can't help but think things like that when I'm surrounded by so much talent. And I'm going to get Best & Brigtest up and running again, oh yes I will. I am now inspired.

Blerg & Kenn are making noise about going to the meeting this Wednesday, and if they do go, I might go - only because it's all the way uptown, and I want people to travel with on the way home.

And I am tired. Might be having lunch with teany, though, which is always something to look forward to.

Am even more in love with the Slope. Help.

Am working now. Really.
