We just had a lovely holiday party for the departing Uberboss, catered by PAX. Minibagels and minimuffins and mini pastries. All of the yum.

Am happy to report that I've gotten at least some shopping accomplished, which makes me feel better. I still have a ways to go, but I have more time. But I found a pretty something for a person I haven't decided on yet, something hillarious for quantumchick, and something lovely for my roomie-to-be. Three cheers for the Bryant Park Holiday fair, truly. Today I hit up the grand dame of holiday markets, Union Square (and the Virgin Megastore). And then, with any luck, I will finally, and at last, be freaking done.

And then I can concentrate on packing to move. Rumor has it I may be moving at work, too. *headdesk*
But that's still TBD, and I'm hoping it won't happen.

Now, I really really have to get lots of things accomplished today so I don't feel guilty during my 4-day weekend, which starts tomorrow. Hallelujah.

I know I haven't written an adventure of everyone's favorite trio in a long time, but I haven't been inspired. Until now. I went out at lunch to make a purchase for a good cause, and as the old saying goes, no good deed goes unpunished.
