Obligatory Comic Con Post #1

So, I just found out that TERRY MOORE is going to be appearing at New York Comic Con. I am psyched. This is on top of the fact that Gabe and Tycho from Penny Arcade are going to be there, AND the team of magnificent maniacs behind Robot Chicken. Oh, and JOSS will be part of the Dollhouse panel. EEEE!

Granted, I was a latecomer to Strangers in Paradise, but I loved it. As much as I am currently loving Echo.

Only problem is that I can't tell on the site where the hell he's going to be. Is he going to be talking? Signing? I have no clue. It says he's a "guest of honor." Obviously. But if he's speaking, I want to hear him speak. If he's signing, I'll be bringing my copy of Echo #1 for him to sign. His bio doesn't mention any panels, his name isn't on the autograph or Artist Alley list, and Abstract Studio doesn't seem to be on the Exhibitor list. So either he's going to be bopping around shaking hands, or I'm missing something.

Also, this post is officially my attempt on a roll call about who will be at the con this weekend. I plan to go at least Saturday and Sunday. I have yet to decide if I'm going to try to go to the screening of Wonder Woman on Friday, especially given the unsubstantiated rumor that Captain Tightpants will be in attendance.

So far, I *know* the following people will be at the con:
redstapler, damiella, ozzdo, dkellergrl, laughingirl (are you going all weekend or just for the Dollhouse panel Sunday?) and j_bkl (just Sunday). Am I missing anyone?

Also, katiebea - you mentioned that you were interested in coming...are you still? We must plan if you intend to sojourn in!

Closer to the day, I'll be posting the schedule of the panels I plan to attend. And lo, there are many. Especially on Saturday.

One other thing: They say on the site that if you ordered your badge before the 16th of January, it'll be mailed to you. I ordered mine January 12. I sent it to my new address. Have no badge yet. I guess if it's not here by Friday I'll have to pick it up in person, but I do find it odd that it's not here yet. *crosses fingers*
