I've been working on little pieces of this post since before lunch.

I had to run out into the sunshine for a little bit today. It's amazing what blue skies and sun can do for you. It makes it all better, whatever it is. I decided that the best thing for my mood was to go and look at pretty dresses at Bergdorf's for a little bit. And boy, did it ever work.

Since being appointed Carly's unofficial-official-sorta Personal Gown Shopper sometime this morning (after finding something on the Jessica McClintock site that seemed exactly like what she was describing to me on the phone on monday) I went over to look at Bridal gowns. I got lost though (what I thought was the Bridal Salon was not), and I wandered around a BEAUTIFUL housewares department and met a nice doggie. I also got FREE chocolate samples. In a way it was sort of perfect, as Carly was always the Free Sample Queen in Albany. She could always find them, no matter where we were.

I was going to try to organize something for v-day, but I think I may just end up forgetting about it. I have to go about acquiring my precious camera - be it at J&R or possibly PC Richard, as the latter is having a sale. Or Best Buy, I suppose, if necessary (but we hateses that store. Hateses it precious). Frankly I'd just like to spend some time vegetating, and considering that the prices of EVERYTHING are going to be jacked up tomorrow, it's a good time to stay in, order chinese (mmmmmmm) and do very very little.

Wow, this weekend couldn't get here fast enough. Like really.

I went out for a beer with Subrights Leah yesterday. She's so much fun! I would be bringing her along tonight (going out with Michelle, missgyder, Amy, and quasisonic for much drinking), but she's leaving for vacation early tomorrow, and couldn't make it. Another time, though.

Then I watched part of Tru Calling (during which I shouted TELL.HIM.THE.TRUTH at the screen and ate leftover pea soup, whitefish, and a bialy with cream cheese & nova). Then I fell asleep and missed the end of CSI. *grumble* So I went upstairs, paid a couple of bills, and then went to sleep. So exciting!

And now I'm finally done, back to work for me!!

dude, that was me...me was you...errr...I was so aggravated she didn't tell Luke the truth AND i fell asleep right before the last 15mins of CSI. *grumble*

and we taped Without a Trace as well. I heard it was good. I wouldn't know, cuz I SLEPT through it as well as half of the 11pm news. *sigh* the sound of the VCR rewinding was what woke me up. LOL
