It's MY day!!

Thank you to all for all of the lovely lovely birthday wishes! I'm truly touched! :D

saintlex & penchantnyc sent me a lovely card and a lovely new friend, who is now on my keychain! I'm not sure what I'm going to name the piggy, but I'll come up with something. Thank you!!!

My co-workers all surprised me with a little birthday surprise celebration (Krispy Kremes, Entemann's Chocolate Frosted donuts, grapes and a really lovely card!!) They were all teasing me about how I think 24 is so old. Boss T informed me that this morning he was talking to his eight year old daughter about me, and how he was 16 when I was born, and how he was having a hard time wrapping his mind around that. But it was sweet of them to throw it for me, and they got me a nice card.

Plus, I will ask him again for the 10th time to ensure he's serious, but my boss offered that I could leave early today, in honor of my birthday. I asked if it would be possible to take the leaving two hours early he offered and instead arrive late tomorrow, and he said okay. !!!!

Okay, who here has read The Kindly Ones??? I just finished it on the train this morning and asdflk;jasd;ouireklhadfldkj. Furthermore, adjklfaweruihdfkladifgukdhlsadfhjf, and GUH! I might have to go ahead and read The Wake right away, just for some sense of closure. AAAAGH!!

Anyway, today Amy and I are going out for a lovely lunch in about half an hour, so I'd better get cracking. My brain's not exactly working, I think it's all the sugar from the Krispy Kreme glaze, but I'm totally hyper.

Escape is spelled just like escapay. WHEE!
