Amezaga better count his blessings that we don't hire pitchers that believe in something so petty as revenge. Like me. Did this guy go to the Ty Cobb School of Fielding, or what? Did nothing wrong my ass. HE THREW THE BALL DIRECTLY AT POSADA!! *fumes*

Poor Jorge! Get better soon!

Tonight is Bombay Dreams! *twirl* So exciting. :)

I may have some things to say about Angel at some point. Last night proved what I've been saying all along, that they may have good storylines, but whomever was in charge of plotting their story arcs was completely arse at it. :P

1. What colour is a strong accent in your wardrobe?
Red. Lots of it - ranging from burgundy to bright.

2. Do you have a central motif (image) that has been invading your doodles/thought process/work?
Um, yes. *cough* I take the 5th on what, though. ;)

3. What was the last awesome find you thrifted?
I haven't really been thrifting in awhile (the smell gets to me), but my most awesome find was a promo copy of Hole's Ask for It compilation, on PINK VINYL, for $7 at Love Saves the Day on 2nd avenue.

4. Do you have any really exciting plans for the upcoming summer months?
Do more work on my writing projects, spend lots of time at the beach, and otherwise enjoy life. :) Excitement is impossible to plan, so I just try to be where it needs to be to find me. ;)

5. Everyone collects something. What do you collect?
Good albums sold at high markdowns at yard/garage sales. Dust. Beauty Products. Paper. Experiences.

6. What's your favourite song lyric right now?
"We have so many tchochtkes, we've practically emptied the Louvre." - Magnetic Fields, "I want a zebra"

OMG you're seeing Bombay Dreams on Broadway? If you videotape illegally I will love you forever! ;) I've seen the London production three times, I love it muchly, and I've heard that they've improved and changed it a lot for the New York production. Have a greeeeat time! Shakalaka Baby is the best song evah! Woo, reading this has made me all hyper!

Heheheh- sorry, no chance of that, I'm afraid. But watch this space for a full review tomorrow. And I'm glad that SOMEONE liked the show - the critics in NYC have not been kind, but I'm so fascinated by Indian culture that I couldn't resist seeing this.

(and we have awesome seats too - front row mezz!)

yeah I too had issue with Angel and how they were able to tie everything in last night. All in all an interesting Ep none the less.

well, you know when your series is being cancelled you've gotta end it quickly. ;)

there's a big difference between 'ending' and 'slowly collapsing like a flan in a cupboard."

are you kidding? if you ask me, the show collapsed like a flan in a cupboard when then made Cordy a higher being.

i guess you could say that my expectations were at a low. the only thing really good about the show is Amy Acker's performance.

Was that before or after the whole baby thing? Because that was a roundoff back handspring sumersault over the shark. Or at least led to it.

Amy Acker is amazing.

which baby? Connor or Jasmine? I think it was post-Connor pre-Jasmine. *shudders* man those arch's sucked!

oh, i also like the Werewolf girlfriend...I can't remember her name, but she didn't suck either. do you have any idea what what she said to Angel before she stormed off with the tickets???

i will admit that ep had some funny moments.

"I have a wooden stake right here....oh, thats not a wooden stake!"

Upon further consideration, I agree with your assessment. Connor, if he had stayed a baby, might have been more interesting than mr.broodypants jr.

I think it was something like "nothing keeping me here." And I like Werewolf girlfriend a lot. I think she's good for him, in many ways.

Yes, that was funny. As was "Crash Bandicoot?"

yeah, it was a little too neat for my taste - so neat that it was sloppy, you know?

So my question is how much was Angel involved in Fred's death?

I don't think much at all, really. He just made it look like he was.

(which was my whole WTF of this. they totally didn't set this up properly.)

i just heard the ad for Bombay Dreams this morn -- I definitely like the music!

As for Angel, I was hoping, beyond hope, that somehow they would have made quite a spectacular episode of it ... being regularly disappointed by the potential of it all sucks!

It was so good way back in the beginning. WTH happened?! GEESH.

Enjoy your show! Totally waiting to hear your review! ^_^

I got a preview CD in the mail, and I liked what I heard, particularly "Shakalakka Baby." As long as it's better than Wicked, I'll be fine.

I don't know what the hell happened. I wish I did. It all started to go downhill when they killed Doyle, imho. That's why I have season 1 on dvd, and no others. It's been on long enough for syndication, and that's all that matters, really.
