Yet another vacation

quodlibetic, rhinoplastique, and squiddeh for a lovely evening last night. Unfortunately, I discovered the reason I'd been spending so many nights at home in front of the tv on Fridays is because of my unfortunate condition of getting SO frigging exhausted by the end of the week that one or two beers renders me narcoleptic. Diet Coke helped me rebound once, but around 11:30 I was done. Sad, sad, sad. It's obnoxious how much sleep my body demands sometimes - and I wish I could find a more permanent way to correct that other than actually sleeping.
It was especially annoying, seeing how yesterday was supposed to be a celebration marking my first day of vacation. Today, tomorrow and Monday I'll be at the beach. I have the new Bridget Harrison book, a mountain of magazines, and all sorts of other amusements to keep me busy. Tuesday I'm especially excited about, because on Tuesdayangelicillusion and I are going Malling in New Jersey (oh GLORIOUS shopping!). After that - sky's the limit, but the emphasis will be on the beach.
Speaking of which, the folks are here to pick me up!
