Step 1: Put your MP3 player (or itunes) on random.
Step 2: Post the first lines of the first 25 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing the song.
Step 3: Post and let everyone you know guess what song and artist the lines come from.
Step 4: Strike out the songs when someone guesses correctly.
Step 5: NO CHEATING.
Special Note: A LOT of covers appear on here. You get credit for the original artist, and super extra credit if you name the correct cover.

Date: 2006-10-03 05:06 am (UTC)11.) "I'm a Believer" covered by SmashMouth
13.) "Elanor Rigby" by the Beatles
I have the sneaking suspicion that I know numbers 8 and 14, but the names and artists escape me and I refuse to cheat by looking them up. I wish I were certain that number 13 was correct, but I'm not.

Date: 2006-10-03 11:09 am (UTC)#13 is correct, though.

Date: 2006-10-05 03:58 pm (UTC)I do, indeed. Bought it yesterday. It's huge, heavy, goregous and FULL of some really amazing pictures. Although a large chunk of Bono's background essay is a total retread from a 1985 Rolling Stone interview (which can easily be found in Bono: The Rolling Stone file), but I'm not sure if that was just Bono repeating himself, he may have just. I'll have to check the credits of the book. But the essays by Adam and Edge and Larry were great - and I'm only a little bit in!
