A week or so ago, fragbert suggested that I join the captioncontests community after I congratulated him on his win.

I entered my first contest last week, not thinking anything of it.

Well, guess what, kids?

I WON!!!!!

Here is my winning entry. (The irony that it has to do with American Idol is not lost on me, either.)

Otherwise I had a kick-ass weekend filled with good times and good friends. Work is tolerable at the moment, and tonight, there is a new Heroes (even if How I met Your Mother is a rerun).
