Party tax

This weekend was wild and wonderful, and thanks to all who made it possible.

I had a little extra cash at my disposal for a change, so I was able to go out and party it up rock star-style. And it appears that was something I dearly needed. I was feeling awesome about the world in general until sometime yesterday afternoon.

At least I thought it was, until I was felled with some sort of bizarre illness last night. Pounding headache, nausea, sore throat, vertigo, weakness - all the fun things you'd name. I'd be confident I had some sort of flu if I had anything resembling a fever, which I don't seem to. I have no idea what's caused it, though I must confess to feeling a tiny bit better now. Only a bit. I'm not happy about this, as my streak from Christmas is basically over. And, this is my very first sick day all year, too. Hmph. So, despite all of you who spend every breath insisting how I'm always sick, take that. I haven't been. This is the first time in a long time. Of course, it's the same night as missgyder's fund raiser for the brick, and remarkably unpleasant besides. This just won't do. I have to get over this nonsense as quickly as possible.

Maybe I should try to eat something? I dunno. I just hate how this all feels. Blah.
