And now, a hungover post!

Well, only mildly hungover, anyway.
As I said last night, I really liked Beatles Love - the first Cirque Show I really, honestly enjoyed. I went in with the lowest possible of expectations, but I had a blast. It's always nice to experience something that makes a band you like shiny and new again. I'd been off the Beatles for a couple of years for various reasons (overplay being paramount, along with some bad memories), but this show polished them up and made them seem new again. I highly recommend it if you have the opportunity.
We'd wanted to maybe see Cher, but the ticket prices were astronomical. Like, I wouldn't even see U2 for that much astronomical. *sigh* I think we made the right choice, though.
Also, yesterday was the day of a million brides. I don't know if it's just Vegas on a weekend, or if it was because yesterday was 8/8/08, but everywhere you looked, there was another bride. There was even a bride and groom that were at our showing of Love, which I thought was cute.
I also played some blackjack at a real table! Granted, I didn't walk away with any money, but I did decently, and played for awhile. And, I didn't embarrass myself at all. I forgot how much I enjoy that game.
I think now is time for my morning swim and to see what
redesigner wants to do for breakfast.
