Post-fall day 3: Still bruised. Still Sore. Still not King. I know I shouldn't be surprised, but I am. Usually I'm a bit achy for a few hours and then I'm all good. Not so much this time.
And before I forget again, last night I saw the best movie I've seen in eons:
Next Stop Wonderland. Reccommended to me by
damiella, it tells the story of an unlucky in love nurse named Erin, who finds her life taking a detour when her mother places a personal ad in the paper. But it's also the story of Alan, a plumber who wants to be a Marine biologist. These two would be perfect together if they ever met, but they keep missing one another. Now, as a fan of Sliding Doors, I thought I'd like this movie on premise alone. But what turned like to love are the dating scenes - I think I've been on almost every single one of those dates, and at times I was laughing so hard I had to backtrack the dvd. Really, if you're looking for a good, lighthearted film to add to your netflix queue, you should add this one.
Now, back to battle...
